A relaxed at home creative retreat

Join me to create with mixed media!

I wanted to create a nice at-home-retreat and introduce you the concept of Self-Care Sketchbook. Doing this has been helping me a lot in my art practice. The idea is to slow down, reflect and make art without pressure but learning beautiful ideas, inspirations and techniques for your pages.

We will have 2 relaxed sessions of making art focusing in our sketchbook.

No pressure to make anything "profesional" or art to be "framed". This is about process, color, words and texture.

What we will do: Day 1

Two relaxed sessions of messy, abstract and colorful mixed media, in one weekend.

On the first day, we build our pages with watercolor, ink, acrylic and markers, and I will teach you how I work with layers of mixed media adding also embroidery on paper. I will show you how I make my morning pages or evening pages, to fill my sketchbook with intention, we will add some writing (if you wish), poems, or anything you want to add.

What we will do: Day 2

Filling the sketchbook with fun abstract florals!

On our Sunday session, we start with quick diary painting pages, using what we liked from the day before and some journaling. Then I will teach you how I do abstract florals on paper, a go-to theme you can paint anytime you need inspiration. We finish with a short closing circle to share what we made and get inspiration by the students.
